QA / QC INSPECTOR

CONDITIONS

REQUIREMENTS

• Monitors the construction contractors’ quality-assurance / quality-control (QA / QC) programs and conducts detailed audits to assess the level of compliance with the QA systems, procedures, and related-quality activities. Monitors and audits the quality control (QC) activities, set forth in the QA program, to confirm that products or services provided are in accordance with client quality requirements.
• Checks and reviews the plans and specifications for the proper construction and quality implementation at job site.
• Checks and reviews Inspection and Testing Plans (ITP)
• Interprets design plans and specifications to verify the work performed in accordance with the contract documents.
• Produces activity reports as necessary to ensure that all QC activities have been fulfilled.
• Inspects and monitors piling installation to ensure location and bearing.
• Participates in the development of quality control reports and procedures as requested by the QA / QC Manager.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
