Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Minimum 12 years+ experience in consultant engineering firms with a strong design focus in oil & gas projects Expertise in HVAC design tools such as HAP, AutoCAD, and Revit Excellent understanding of local Qatar codes and international HVAC standards MMUP / UPDA or equivalent certification preferred

Duration : 1 Year (Extendable)
Location : Doha, Qatar
Client : One of the leading Oil & Gas consultants in Qatar
Role Summary
Looking for a Senior HVAC Engineer with 12+ years of consultant-level design experience, focused on HVAC engineering design solutions for oil & gas projects in FEED and detailed engineering stages only.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed heating / cooling load calculations, duct and pipe sizing, HVAC equipment selection and specification
- Prepare and review HVAC design drawings, layout plans, and calculation reports for oil & gas facilities
- Develop technical specifications and design documentation for tender and project execution phases
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design outputs
- Review contractor / supplier submittals, drawings, and ensure compliance with design intent
- Adhere to QCS, ASHRAE, SMACNA, and other relevant HVAC design codes and standards
- Participate actively in technical design reviews and project coordination meetings
Qualifications
Note : We will only consider profiles with a focus on design engineering and oil & gas consultancy firms' experience. Profiles related to maintenance / supervisor, or site-related, are not considered for this position.
