Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
Operate heavy vehicles (trailers, tankers, or flatbeds) to transport fuel, lubricants, drilling materials, or related oil and gas products to and from designated sites.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle’s safety, cleanliness, and compliance with transport standards.
Verify load quantities, seals, and documentation before departure.
Ensure proper loading and unloading of hazardous materials in compliance with HSE regulations .
Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery records, fuel slips, and safety checklists.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, loading terminal operators, and site supervisors.
Follow all company driving policies, PPE requirements, and spill prevention procedures .
Report any vehicle defects, spills, incidents, or near misses immediately.
Assist in routine vehicle maintenance and coordinate servicing schedules.
Uphold the company’s reputation by ensuring professional conduct and customer service.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements :
Valid Heavy Vehicle / Commercial Driver’s License (appropriate class for trailer / tanker operations).
Minimum 3–5 years of experience driving trailers or tankers in the oil and gas, logistics, or hazardous materials sector.
Clean driving record with no major violations.
Certified in Defensive Driving , Hazardous Materials Handling , and H2S Awareness (as required).Knowledge of road transport regulations, load securing, and emergency response procedures.
Strong focus on safety, environmental protection, and regulatory compliance .
Physically fit and able to work in remote locations or extended shifts if required.
