Senior Quality Specialist

Purpose The Senior Quality Engineer supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Program in alignment with customer requirements and the Worley Management System. This role is responsible for managing quality across assigned projects, including surveillance, audits, and ensuring compliance with procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).

Ensure compliance with QMS and drive system improvement initiatives.

Prepare, implement, and update Project Quality Plans and supporting Quality Control Plans and procedures.

Plan and conduct internal and external audits; manage corrective actions and close-outs.

Engage with customers to understand and meet quality expectations; build strong relationships with customer teams.

Establish, monitor and report Project Quality KPIs, including leading and lagging indicators.

Lead the lessons learned program to foster continuous improvement across projects.

Ensure implementation of project-specific procedures and Worley Management System requirements.

Facilitate non-conformance management, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.

Promote knowledge sharing, best practices, and lessons learned across teams.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address process gaps early and improve.

Apply sound quality management principles and drive system enhancements.

Understand onshore and offshore engineering practices and processes.

Deliver technically sound, accurate, and timely quality support to Worley and its customers.

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university (Full-Time).

Certified ISO 9001 : 2015 QMS Lead Auditor (IRCA or equivalent).

Experience in quality management in EPIC / EPCM Projects with more focus in engineering phase (Study, FEED, Detail Engineering).

Experience in process plants, particularly in Oil & Gas or petrochemical sectors, covering onshore and offshore.

Proven ability to interface with multiple engineering disciplines.

Industry Specific Experience

Strong understanding of Quality Management principles and systems.

Effective auditing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
