The Total Salary is Structured as follows :

Basic Salary : 5,600 QAR

Transport Allowance : 1,000 QAR

Minimum Requirements Overseas Hiring of nationals not in Qatar

Education Requirements :

High School Certificate + CSSD Certificate (Minimum 1-Year Course)

Diploma in a Healthcare-related field (Minimum 2-Year Course)

CSSD Certificate (Minimum 6-Month Course) AND must hold one of the following international certifications :

CRCST (HSPA) – Certified Registered Central Service Technician

CSPDT (CBSPD) – Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician

Experience Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a CSSD Technician

Must have hands-on experience with Plasma Sterilizers

Familiarity with sterilization workflow and tracking systems is essential

Specification The CSSD Technician is responsible for the decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment.

This role ensures strict adherence to infection control standards, supports surgical and procedural areas, and oversees operational tasks during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise and coordinate CSSD staff and workflow during assigned shifts

Clean, disinfect, and decontaminate surgical instruments using proper protocols

Assemble and inspect instrument trays for function, cleanliness, and completeness

Operate sterilization equipment and monitor sterilization parameters

Maintain inventory, request repairs, and track tray components and missing items

Follow universal precautions and safety standards in all work areas

Ensure accurate wrapping, pouching, and labeling of instruments per protocol

Dispatch and distribute sterile and non-sterile supplies and surgical case carts

Sanitize workstations and maintain a clean, organized working environment

Use computer systems for data entry and supply requisitioning
