Dealer Auditor| Volkswagen Group Middle East | Doha, Qatar
We are seeking an experienced Dealer Auditor for Volkswagen Group Middle East in our Doha, Qatar office. In this role, you will ensure that dealer operations strictly comply with Group policies and brand-specific tactical programs across all internal brands. The role is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on monthly and ad hoc audits focused on Delivery-to-Customer (DtC) policy adherence, tactical campaign eligibility, and dealer claim validation. Additionally, the Dealer Auditor provides frontline support for the Autoclaim platform by resolving operational issues and collaborates with IT to elevate and track system-level concerns. Continuous improvement of audit tools, processes, and reporting methodologies to increase efficiency and accuracy is also a key responsibility.
Main Responsibilities
Dealer Audit Execution and Policy Compliance
- Conduct the monthly Delivery-to-Customer (DtC) policy audit based on submitted dealer documentation
- Plan and execute regular dealer audits, including backlog audits
- Focus audits on DtC policy compliance and tactical campaign eligibility checks based on sampled VINs
- Validate tactical support claims by confirming vehicle eligibility, support amounts, and alignment with campaign terms and conditions
- Coordinate with internal teams and dealerships to collect and analyze required audit data
- Develop and follow structured audit work programs and conduct kickoff and clearance meetings
- Prepare and finalize comprehensive audit reports, presenting findings to relevant departments and stakeholders.
- Lead follow-ups on audit outcomes and manage issue escalation when necessary
- Gather post-audit feedback and apply it to improve future audit cycles
- Maintain and continuously improve the Dealer Audit Tool Kit with up-to-date procedures, checklists, and reference materials
Autoclaim Platform Support
Provide front-end support for the Autoclaim platform by resolving issues raised by dealers or campaign managersEscalate system-level concerns to developers when front-end resolution is not possibleServe as a key contact for troubleshooting and ensuring smooth operation of tactical campaign claims processesInternal Audits and Commercial Cost Oversight
Conduct internal audits of dealer-related spending, including tactical support, marketing incentives, aftersales programs, and other commercial initiativesCollaborate with Controlling and Compliance teams to define audit scope and identify high-risk or non-compliant areasProvide actionable recommendations to internal teams to improve program effectiveness and policy adherenceEnsure audit processes are well-documented, transparently reported, and aligned with internal control frameworksPolicy Management and Audit Development
Maintain and update the Dealer Audit Policy to reflect feedback, evolving business needs, and new audit focus areasExpand the audit framework to include wider dealer-related support such as marketing and aftersalesAlign all audit policies and practices with Group governance and regulationsTools, Automation, and Process Efficiency
Maintain and improve existing audit tools such as document information extraction platformsIdentify and implement efficiencies at the first operational level to reduce manual workload and improve accuracyWork with relevant stakeholders to ensure tools are scalable, user-friendly, and effectiveRelated Functions
Support risk reporting for VWGSME and VWGME in collaboration with the VWGME Controller, as neededPerform other tasks as may be deemed necessary within the Finance TeamKey Competencies & Qualifications
Degree in Finance & AccountingQualified Accountant (CPA / CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) preferredMBA (Finance) an advantage3 to 5 years of progressive experience, preferably in audit with focus on compliance and internal auditsMinimum 2 years’ experience working in the Middle East regionStrong understanding of dealership structures, tactical programs, and vehicle sales processesExperience in audit planning, execution, and reporting proceduresExperience in the automotive industry preferredStrong communication skills (written and spoken) with ability to engage across all organizational levelsExcellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skillsAbility to identify issues and develop practical business solutionsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work well in teams and collaborate effectivelyConfident, trustworthy, and professional with strong work ethics and integrityFlexible, adaptable, and customer-oriented mindsetWillingness to travel for business purposesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with audit or reporting toolsExperience with the Autoclaim platform or similar tactical systemsFluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage#J-18808-Ljbffr
