Quality Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Engineer to join our team in Doha Qatar. As a Quality Engineer you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our quality management systems ensuring that our products and processes meet the highest standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures

Conduct internal quality audits and coordinate external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards

Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions

Develop and maintain documentation related to quality processes and procedures

Provide training and guidance to staff on quality management principles and best practices

Monitor and evaluate supplier quality performance

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations

Prepare and present quality reports to management

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related field

Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Strong computer and database management skills including experience with SharePoint

Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and quality control methodologies

Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality auditing processes

Experience in process improvement techniques such as Lean and Six Sigma

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to interpret and apply industry standards and regulations

ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) or equivalent certification is preferred

ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent certification is a plus

Experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
