Role Description

Role : Senior BI Developer (Data Analyst)

Location : Doha, Qatar

Duration : Full-Time / Onsite / Contract 1 year renewable

Language requirement : Good command of English language is required.

In the senior BI Developer capacity, you will be a member of our data analytics development team. Your responsibilities will involve working with data architects and senior business intelligence analysts and clients to transform business needs into semantic data models, reports, dashboards, visualizations and self-service BI. The role will also be responsible and accountable for quality assurance and verification procedures. All deliverables must be checked and verified for competence, accuracy and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in fields like Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven hands-on experience designing and developing data visualizations, dashboards, reports, metadata models, ETL packages is essential.
• A strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques. Hands-on experience developing metadata dimensional model using MS Power BI is a must.
• 5+ years hands-on development experience using Microsoft Power BI developing visualizations, dashboards and reports, DAX experience is required.
• Experience with various database technologies including Oracle, SAP HANA, Azure Data Lake
• Experience in SQL (Structured Query Language) for querying, managing, and manipulating data.
