Wedding Planner Assistant

As a Wedding Planner Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and coordination of weddings for our clients. This role will involve working closely with clients to understand their vision and assist in bringing it to life, as well as coordinating with vendors and managing logistical details. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals with a passion for event planning and a desire to learn and grow in the wedding industry.

Responsibilities :

Assist in meeting with clients to understand their vision and preferences for their wedding
Research and recommend vendors, venues, and other services based on client needs and budget
Assist in negotiating contracts with vendors to ensure best pricing and terms
Coordinate all logistics leading up to the wedding day, including scheduling appointments, managing timelines, and confirming reservations
Attend appointments, tastings, rehearsals, and other events as needed
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on planning progress
Assist in creating detailed wedding timelines and itineraries
Act as point of contact for vendors on the wedding day to ensure everything runs smoothly
Provide on-site support during the wedding day to troubleshoot any issues that may arise

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)

Passion for event planning, specifically weddings

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of local vendors and venues is a plus

Prior experience in event planning or customer service is a plus but not required

Salary :

This is an entry-level position with a starting salary of 1100$. Salary may increase based on performance.

Location :

This position is located in Doha. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Doha.
