Rigger

Responsibilities :

Inspect, select, and use lifting gear such as slings, shackles, hooks, spreader bars, and chains .

Signal and guide crane operators and lifting personnel during lifting operations.

Secure loads properly to ensure safe lifting, movement, and positioning.

Conduct pre-use inspection of rigging and lifting equipment; report defects or damage.

Ensure lifting operations follow lifting plans, load charts, and HSE regulations .

Work closely with crane operators, lifting supervisors, and safety officers during operations.

Qualifications & Experience :

High School Certificate / Technical Trade Certification.

Certified Rigger (Level 1 / 2 / 3 as per project requirements).

Minimum 3–8 years of experience in rigging and lifting operations in oil & gas, construction, or industrial projects.

Strong knowledge of load charts, lifting gear inspection, and safe lifting practices.

Familiar with OSHA, LOLER, ASME B30.5, or other international lifting standards .
