Network and Security Systems Technician

Location Qatar Department Information Technology Reports To Sr IT Administrator Director Compliance Employment Type FullTime Staff Skilled Network and Security Systems Technician to join our dynamic IT team This role plays a key part in ensuring the reliability performance and security of our network infrastructure CCTV access control systems and cloud platforms supporting the business operations of one of the region s leading gold refineries The position will be responsible for monitoring maintaining and troubleshooting IT systems ensuring data integrity and cybersecurity compliance The role also includes managing Microsoft 365 environments endpoint security and user support for network and systemrelated issues Key Responsibilities Monitor and analyze network performance traffic and security events Configure and troubleshoot switches firewalls VLANs VPNs DHCP DNS and TCP IP Implement and maintain firewall security policies NAT rules and web filtering Manage CCTV NVR IVMS and access control systems to ensure surveillance and facility security Configure and support WiFi access points PABX IP telephony and VoIP systems Administer Microsoft 365 Entra ID SharePoint Online Teams and Exchange Online Provide desktop laptop and printer support across Windows 10 11 environments Maintain network diagrams credentials and IT asset registers Assist with cloud security monitoring Intune device compliance and policy enforcement Ensure compliance with IT security frameworks and organizational policies Qualifications Competencies Diploma or Bachelor s degree in IT Computer Science or a related field 2 4 years experience in networking cybersecurity or IT systems administration Certifications such as CompTIA Network CCNA or Microsoft AZ900 are advantageous Strong knowledge of networking protocols cybersecurity and IT documentation Excellent troubleshooting multitasking and reporting abilities What We Offer Competitive salary and worklife balance Opportunity to grow within a leading luxury precious metals brand Strategic and creative ownership over insights and market intelligence Collaborative highvisibility environment
