Construction Lead ( HVAC )

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in applied sciences or engineering.
• 8 years experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service / vendor personnel.
• In depth knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, appropriate safety criteria, offshore facilities and discipline design, construction, operations and engineering administration.
• Knowledge and experience in discipline hook-up and commissioning delivery processes and associated project phases, familiar with completions walk down and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.
• Experience in an HVAC role for large EPC contracts, with strong HVAC commissioning / technical skills.
• Advanced knowledge in testing and balancing (TAB) activities.
• Advanced knowledge in performance testing of fans and air handling units to ensure design specs are met.
• Advanced knowledge of refrigeration system commissioning.
• Experience in room integrity testing.
• Knowledge of Fluoridated Gas (F-gas) regulations.
• Experience with AHI Carrier & Wozair equipment.
• Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
• Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
• Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope.
• Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
• Experience working in large scale operating organisations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
