Job descriptionBachelor of Science degree in Engineering from a reputable university in North America Western Europe or Australia. Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline. Minimum of 10 years of experience in implementing and maintaining QMS aligned with ISO 9001 and / or ISO 50001 standards. Strong understanding of quality management principles methodologies and best practices. Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience working in the GCC region is highly preferred. Fitness for and willingness to work in confined spaces adhering to all safety protocols. They are currently looking for a Quality Assurance & Control Engineer to be based in Qatar.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop implement and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) adhering to ISO 9001 and / or ISO 50001 standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address potential quality and safety issues.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation related to QMS procedures policies and reports.
- Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality and sustainability practices.
- Collaborate with various departments (e.g. engineering production) to ensure quality standards are integrated into all aspects of operations.
- Train and mentor staff on QMS procedures and best practices.
- Remain current with relevant quality and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Possess the physical fitness and ability to safely enter and work in confined spaces adhering to all necessary protocols.
