Server Administrator

Job Description

Job Purpose :

To ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the organization’s server infrastructure by managing servers, patching, backups, mobile device policies, and access controls, while supporting business continuity and security compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

Server Management

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and / or Linux (SUSE) servers (physical and virtual).
• Monitor server performance, availability, and health using monitoring tools.
• Manage virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, VxRail, HCE).
• Maintain and Monitoring DR Site and testing DR site on periodic basis. Active Directory & Access Control
• Administer Active Directory including user / group management, OU structure, GPOs, and domain services.
• Implement and maintain access control policies based on least privilege and role based access.
• Audit and review access logs and permissions regularly.
• Manage and Maintain Group policies and procedures.
• Manage and Maintain DHCP, DNS services etc.,
• Manage and Maintain the ADDS.
