Doha, Qatar , a renowned company specializing in

horticulture, landscaping, and high-end maintenance services . As part of their continued growth and operational excellence, they are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented finance professional to oversee core accounting operations and lead the revenue and cost cycles through the following role : Position :

Chief Accountant Key Responsibilities Supervise the

Disbursements Controller

and

Credit Controller

teams, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial operations. Manage the full

Revenue & Receivables Cycle : invoicing, credit control, collections, and rental / service income recognition. Oversee the

Costs & Payables Cycle : vendor payments, cash flow, disbursements, and cost control processes. Monitor and report on

property-related expenses ,

maintenance projects , and

refurbishment costs . Ensure

accurate month-end closings , journal entries, and ledger integrity. Support the

preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

in compliance with IFRS and local regulations. Collaborate with internal / external auditors, tax consultants, and legal teams. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support operational decision-making. Maintain and strengthen

internal controls , policy compliance, and risk mitigation frameworks. Contribute to the implementation of

• finance digital tools and process improvements . Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;

CPA, CMA, or DipIFRS

is highly preferred. Minimum

7+ years of accounting experience , ideally within

landscaping, facilities management, construction, or maintenance contracting . Proven expertise in managing

revenue and cost cycles , including receivables, disbursements, and project-related accounting. Strong command of

IFRS , financial reporting, and audit processes. Experience supervising small finance teams and working cross-functionally. Advanced proficiency in

Excel

and ERP systems ( SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics , etc.). Familiarity with

Qatar tax and regulatory frameworks

is a strong advantage. Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus. Prior experience in the

GCC region
