Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Mechanical Engineer to join our team for the Ras Laffan Project. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in mechanical engineering within the oil and gas sector with the ability to oversee site activities ensure compliance with project specifications and support construction execution efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor all site mechanical works ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Review project drawings technical specifications and work procedures related to mechanical activities.
Coordinate with contractors subcontractors and project teams for timely completion of site work.
Ensure proper installation testing and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment.
Prepare site reports monitor progress and elevate potential issues or delays to management.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure PPE usage by all site personnel.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project execution.
Requirements
Education : Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience : 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering preferably in oil and gas projects.
Certification : Relevant mechanical / engineering certifications will be an advantage.
Language : Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Nationality : Open to all nationalities
