Information Security Analyst

Information Security Analyst vacancy in Umm-Salal Qatar

As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's information systems and data. This includes conducting risk assessments, implementing security measures, and monitoring for any potential threats or breaches. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining security policies and procedures, training employees on proper security protocols, and staying up-to-date on the latest industry developments and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices
• Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners
• Knowledge of network protocols and operating systems
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
• Excellent communication skills to effectively train employees on security protocols
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data sets
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISA are preferred
