Safety Officer

Job Description

Responsibilities :

• Monitor and ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and legal requirements on site.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections , identifying unsafe acts or conditions and recommending corrective actions.
• Participate in risk assessments, job safety analyses (JSA), and toolbox talks before work begins.
• Verify compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, confined space, and hot work safety requirements.
• Ensure all workers use appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and follow safe work practices.
• Conduct and document incident, accident, and near-miss investigations , ensuring proper reporting and follow-up.
• Maintain safety statistics, inspection reports, and compliance records .
