Overview :

We are looking to hire a Senior Architectural Engineer for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar.

Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant post-graduate experience, with at least 6 years related to the Oil & Gas industry.

Fluency in English is required.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide technical design and engineering services in Architectural Engineering for all assigned projects, ensuring quality, schedule, cost, and HSE standards are met.
• Conduct architectural engineering activities and site surveys from initial concept through to engineering studies, FEED, detailed design, and commissioning.
• Ensure adherence to client technical assurance practices, standards, environmental, and safety policies in work-scopes and activities.
• Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines, codes, standards, and practices.
• Support the Engineering Department in reviewing, updating, and applying client standards and amendments.
• Plan and coordinate a team of multidisciplinary engineers to deliver timely technical services.
• Coordinate engineering designs, develop, and review multi-disciplinary work-scopes for projects.
• Review and approve method statements from contractors for scope compliance and liaise to resolve technical issues.
• Develop and monitor schedules for in-house engineering activities and contribute to external FEED / EPIC scheduling.
• Evaluate technical bid packages for scope compliance.
• Review and assess contract changes and variations.
• Support the development of technical skills within the team through training.
