Responsibilities
- Lead in equipment installation, maintenance and repairs
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions
Duties and Responsibilities
Comply with Primepower servicing schedules and proceduresEnsure all equipment is prepared for hire in compliance with Primepower ‘Green Card’ procedureEnsure all work performed reports are approved by client (on site) and are legibly producedEnsure immediate response and minimal disruption to client’s requirementsEnsure good housekeeping of work area and service vehicleMaintain a minimum spares level in service vehicle as per proceduresEffective troubleshooting to minimise downtime and unnecessary repair costsCustomer satisfaction externally & internallyCompliance to QHSE & ISO Standards and ProceduresCompliance with 24 hour call – out policyPrimepower places a strong emphasis on health, operational safety and environmental protection. College Degree in in a Mechanical or Electrical field or Industrial Training Institute qualificationsGrade 10 or 12 clarificationPrevious Experience with Cummins / Iveco / Scania Diesel Generator enginesMust hold an official Mechanical and Electrical trade qualification from a recognized organizationProficiency with generator controllers including PCC 2100, PCC 3100, PCC 3200, PCC 3300 and DSE 8000 series, with training certificates from courses attended in programmingDemonstrated track record in rebuilding Cummins engines, including KTA50, KTA38, KSQ23, QSX15, QSG12, NTA855, QSL9, 6BTA, and 4BTACapability to assess power demand according to production needsAccredited high voltage qualification from a recognized organizationCompletion of high voltage switching coursesFamiliarity with the generator load testing process#J-18808-Ljbffr
