HR Generalist

We are seeking a proactive and versatile HR Generalist to join our team in the construction and civil engineering industry In this role you will be responsible for managing a wide range of HR functions including recruitment employee relations compliance and performance management Your expertise in HR practices will be vital in supporting our workforce and contributing to a positive and productive work environment Key Responsibilities Recruitment and Staffing Manage the recruitment process including job postings candidate screening interviewing and selection Employee Onboarding Oversee the onboarding process for new hires including orientation documentation and training Ensure new employees are integrated smoothly into the organization and understand company policies and procedures Employee Relations Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances Provide guidance and support on workplace issues conflict resolution and disciplinary actions while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations Performance Management Assist with performance management processes including goal setting performance appraisals and feedback Support managers in addressing performance issues and implementing development plans Training and Development Coordinate and facilitate employee training programs and professional development initiatives Identify training needs and work with external vendors or internal resources to deliver relevant training HR Policies and Procedures Develop update and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals Communicate policies to employees and ensure consistent application
