Senior Backend Developer - Java with Restful API and Spring Boot

We have an urgent requirement for a Senior Backend Developer - Java with Restful API and Spring Boot in the Banking Domain with a client based in Qatar.

Responsibilities

Expertise in building RESTful APIs using Spring Boot framework, with a strong understanding of design patterns and best practices.
Proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented design principles.
Deep knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance RESTful APIs using Spring Boot framework.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and project scope.
Architect and implement solutions that are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
Optimize API performance and scalability to meet the demands of a rapidly growing user base.
Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to services.
Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
Good understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Requirements

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

8-10 years of experience in Java development, with a deep understanding of the Banking Domain.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Experience in coordinating with infrastructure teams for successful application deployment.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
