Job Summary

The Beauty Consultant’s primary responsibility is to generate in-store sales. The BC is under the supervision of the Area BA Manager, a partner to the National Sales Manager and contributes to brand awareness and retail sales to influence Sunday Riley’s in-store success. The BC is accountable for sales performance, VPT / PPT growth, personal development and growth of the customer database by providing excellent & exceptional customer service within Qatar.The ideal candidate must enjoy the retail environment and must have a strong background in the beauty industry, sales and customer experience. The candidate must be a stellar seller, organized, responsible, detail-oriented, a self-starter, a multi-tasker and possess strong follow-up skills. Communication skills, timely reporting practices, follow-through, and a collaborative approach with Area Sales Supervisor to develop strategic in-store sales and activities are a must. Energy, passion & resilience are crucial; must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Job Description

To deliver exceptional customer service to all potential / actual customers.

To offer all customers the opportunity to experience the product on the skin.

To consistently achieve and deliver the KPI targets.

To develop excellent in-store relationships with management / peers.

To ensure planogram implementation as per the guidelines

To ensure product availability is maintained in the stores by communicating it with the respective store manager

To know and understand sales achievements, figures and data and to have personal accountability for all deliverables.

Product Knowledge

To demonstrate an in depth and fluent knowledge of all the Sunday Riley products, collections, features and benefits through detailed training with the education team.

To have personal accountability for learning and development including own research and asking the back-office team for additional learning and questions. This includes attending all training provided and contributing to a group learning environment.

To have wide skincare knowledge in general and to understand all methods, techniques, layering and suitability of the Sunday Riley products.

To be able to answer all customer’s questions honestly and effectively in order to recommend the exact products suited to them.

Store Environment

To achieve and maintain an excellent retail environment with the highest standards in all areas of the sales floor, tester and product replenishment and the stock room area.

To support with floor moves and implementation of promotions whilst ensuring consistent delivery of housekeeping, presentation and personal grooming standards.

To act in a responsible and positive manner at all times, ensuring that the Sunday Riley codes of practice, health and safety are adhered to and followed.

To be responsible for ensuring, recording and reporting : the availability of our listed products, the store’s adherence to the visual merchandising agreements and brand standards, the availability of testers, sachets and samples.

Achieve and Exceed UPT & VPT targets

Exceptional customer experience / journey & growth / development of customer database..

Ensure visual merchandising and executional excellence in store.

Share competitive brands activations and newness instore

Effective admin management / personal development / learning & growth.

Experiences and Skills Required :

Minimum 3 years of retail, sales and / or beauty industry experience, preferably in the skincare industry

Previous experience with Beauty Department Stores preferable.

Memorable, positive, professional and enthusiastic presence

Passion for skincare.

Strong aptitude for product knowledge, brand messaging and selling

Experience working in an open-sell environment

Self-motivated, committed and goal-oriented

Energetic and passionate with an entrepreneurial, flexible, friendly spirit

Ability to travel required

English Required (Arabic, Russian and / or Mandarin speaking preferred but not required)

Work Location, Territory, and work week

This role is field based in-store.

This is a full time role with 1 day off per week.

The Beauty Consultant is responsible for adhering to the schedule set out for them by the Retail Area Manager
