Our Middle East operations have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar.

Position Overview : As an Electrical Engineer in our Energy team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing and integrating electrical systems across a variety of power generation, transmission, and distribution projects. Your deep power network understanding will enable you to design, analyze and optimize power distribution systems, helping deliver solutions that will redefine the energy landscape and revolutionize how we harness, distribute, and manage energy.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive power system designs that align with client requirements and industry standards.
• Conducting power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, and transient stability analysis, to assess system performance and identify potential issues.
• Designing and implementing protection and control schemes to ensure the reliability and security of power systems.
• Evaluating equipment specifications, such as transformers, switchgear, and generators, to ensure compatibility and optimal performance within the power network.
• Participating in the development of renewable energy projects, including integration of solar, wind, and energy storage systems into existing grids.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Collaborating with clients to understand their unique challenges and objectives, and delivering innovative solutions that exceed their expectations.
• Developing relationships with clients, identifying and pursuing project opportunities, and / or providing support and direction on tenders and bids.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in power systems technology to drive continuous improvement in project outcomes.
