Job description

Support the Lifecycle Solutions & Services (LSS) business to drive growth and profitability in the Services sector, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and safety records. Responsible for delivering support services to customers in accordance with global standards and processes. Understand customer needs, resolve issues using technical expertise, and leverage Honeywell’s support network to provide high-quality service. Focus on customer growth and development, and identify service opportunities within the installed base at both On-Shore and Off-Shore locations.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform routine and complex preventative maintenance and corrective activities for all components of the Honeywell DCS virtualization system on Gen#2 and Gen#3 platforms.
  • Manage complex issues and troubleshoot on-site for Honeywell DCS virtualized infrastructure under pressure.
  • Perform maintenance and corrective activities for all components of the Honeywell DCS network design with Cisco infrastructure.
  • Manage troubleshooting on-site for Honeywell DCS FTE network infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with customers and the Technical Assistance Center to resolve issues promptly and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Influence stakeholders through effective communication, converting customer problems into actionable items and ensuring closure.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the team to enhance service delivery.
  • Perform modification projects and services at customer locations (SPOT and CO Jobs).
  • Manage permit-to-work activities, including risk assessments, site impact analysis, peer reviews, and ensuring approval and control measures are in place before work begins.
  • Raise Service Requests (SR) with the Honeywell Technical Assistance Center and follow through to resolution.
  • Raise RMA for defective materials.
  • Escalate SR issues with serious or political impact on site services.
  • Maintain proactive relationships with customers to support the Honeywell install base.
  • Provide on-call support for site issues, ensuring resolution within contractual timeframes.
  • Support site start-up and commissioning activities in collaboration with operations.
  • Deliver support services as per contract scope, adhering to all Honeywell processes and codes of conduct.
  • Ensure safety procedures and matrix activities are followed as per the assigned AOP.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree in an engineering field.
  • 10-12 years of experience with Experion PKS / TPS / Safety System (FSC & SM).
  • Hands-on experience with online / offline modifications of TPS systems.
  • Experience in system installation, FAT setup, and SAT power-on for Experion C200 / C300 systems.
  • Knowledge of Experion migration, FSC / SM system modifications, both ONLINE and OFFLINE.
  • Virtualization knowledge; VM certification and experience with Honeywell virtual infrastructure is advantageous.
  • AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with Visio and PowerPoint is beneficial.
  • Networking knowledge, particularly regarding Honeywell FTE, is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining Experion PKS systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
