The Production Control Clerk is responsible for receiving, recording, assigning and tracking work orders to completion in the government approved automated system. The Production Control Clerk may assist with supply tracking in the government automated system to include preparing records and reports of consumption of material and miscellaneous consumables, quality control and other aspects of parts and material warehouse management. The Production Control Clerk must be capable of working independent in lieu of specific instructions to accomplish mission in accordance with the performance work statement (PWS).
Responsibilities
Present a professional and courteous image at all times, communicate customer needs, provide a problem-solving service, develop a cooperative working relationship, coordinate and monitor customer needs, instill cooperative management, and ensure professional performance.Provide polite, cheerful, and prompt customer support to answer trouble calls and enter work orders in the automated system and track to completion in accordance with the PWS. This involves identifying facility needs, categorizing work and reviewing work orders.Follow up with customers and facility managers to ensure facility problems are completed to the customer's satisfaction no later than two (2) calendar days after work request completion.Provide USG and customers advanced notifications of scheduled disrupted services and expected downtime notices due to emergency outages.Assist in the process to obtain digging permits, welding permits, and confined space entry permits. The AF Form 103, Base Civil Engineer Work Clearance Request, or automated equivalent may be used for this purpose. Assist in the approval of digging permits.Assist maintenance workers with supply tracking and receiving as needed to ensure work order completion timelines are met.Provide appropriate technical assistance and responses or refer calls to other individuals, as necessary.Follow a comprehensive safety program in compliance with Vectrus, OSHA and United States Air Force (USAF) requirements.Maintain a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter and trash in all working facilities and areas.Safeguard all government and contractor provided property (e.g., government facilities, equipment and tools).Accurate execution of company time reporting procedures and timesheet completion.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Education / Certifications : One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required.High School diploma or equivalent; Technical or Associates Degree preferred.Current, valid U. S. Passport and Driver’s License.Must have and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET or Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to deployment.Experience : A minimum of five (5) years of related work experience managing inventory control procedures, business operations, logistics, finance, or mathematics.Excellent customer service skills, understanding of operation, maintenance and repair service ticket needs, inventory, supply and document control experience.At V2X, we are deeply committed to equal employment opportunity, including protection for Veterans and individuals with disabilities, and fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
