Primary Purpose Of The Job Develop and implement strategic solutions for QatarEnergy’s corporate insurance program to ensure optimal coverage for insurable risks. Offer expert risk management counsel to various stakeholders across the organization, addressing risks associated with our business operations, including providing advice on contracts, capital projects, acquisitions, and divestments. Proactively manage insurance claims on behalf of the company to secure the best possible settlement.
Required Experience And Skills Experience requirements
Relevant experience in energy / insurance (10-15 years).
Proven experience in placing operational and construction insurance programs for operators in international energy insurance markets.
Experience of working on insurance programs across multiple countries.
Risk engineering experience, including experience in carrying out Estimated Maximum Loss assessments and developing risk engineering survey programs for operators in the energy industry, would be beneficial.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues of different cultural backgrounds.
Education requirements
Bachelor degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or Law.
Professional qualifications in insurance obtained from the Chartered Insurance Institute (minimum at Diploma level) or equivalent.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest trends and developments in the insurance market.
