Information Technology Project Coordinator

Job Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Coordinator to support and manage banking-related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, product launches, and process improvements. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between stakeholders, project teams, and senior management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Management & Execution

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of banking projects aligned with business goals and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and schedules to ensure timely completion.

Resource Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to allocate resources efficiently.
  • Ensure availability of necessary tools and personnel to meet project requirements.
  • Budget & Financial Tracking

  • Support in monitoring project budgets and tracking expenses.
  • Ensure financial compliance and prevent cost overruns.
  • Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as a central point of contact between project teams, department heads, senior management, and clients.
  • Provide consistent updates on project progress, issues, and risks.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all project activities adhere to banking regulations (e.g., data protection, risk management).
  • Identify potential risks and assist in developing mitigation plans.
  • Process & Quality Management

  • Support the implementation of tools and processes to improve efficiency and customer experience.
  • Monitor deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and resolve discrepancies when needed.
  • Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation (e.g., plans, schedules, reports).
  • Ensure documentation meets internal audit and compliance standards.
  • Training & Support

  • Assist in training team members and end-users on newly implemented systems or processes.
  • In-depth understanding of banking operations, compliance, and financial regulations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, EPM).
  • High level of discretion when dealing with confidential financial information.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
