Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

Review electrical designs, drawings, and technical specifications for infrastructure projects.

Plan, supervise, and monitor electrical works such as power distribution networks, street lighting, substations, cabling, and LV / HV systems.

Ensure all electrical installations comply with local authority requirements, international codes, and safety regulations.

Prepare BOQs, material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings for client / consultant approval.

Conduct site inspections, testing & commissioning of electrical systems.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering within infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, industrial, or public works).

Knowledge of power distribution systems, substations, street lighting, and infrastructure cabling.

Strong understanding of IEC, IEEE, NEC, BS, and local authority standards.

Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project / Primavera, and electrical design software.
