Overview Halian is hiring a Consultant - Bid Management for a permanent position in Doha, Qatar.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Excellent command of Arabic and English (spoken and written).
Experience in the GCC market is mandatory.
Minimum 8–10 years of overall IT / Technology experience, with at least 4 years dedicated to bid management in Managed Services (Service Desk, ITSM, Cloud / Infrastructure, SOC / NOC, Application Services, IT Outsourcing).
Proven ability to write high-quality technical and commercial proposals in both languages.
Strong understanding of SLA frameworks and ability to translate them into contractual and operational commitments.
Ability to package Managed Services offerings into structured service catalogs, pricing models, and delivery frameworks.
Ability to produce diagrams (service architectures, delivery workflows, SLA dashboards, etc.) using tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, Lucidchart, or similar.
Ability to develop impactful presentations — both technical solution overviews and business / sales pitch decks.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate tenders and highlight competitive positioning, risks, and compliance gaps.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
Strategic thinker with problem‑solving ability to bridge gaps between sales, technical, and delivery teams.
Familiarity with IT governance and frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, and cloud adoption frameworks.
