SR. CIVIL / STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (OFFSHORE)

Primary Purpose of the Job Provide technical design and engineering services in Civil / Structural Engineering (Offshore) for all assigned engineering projects. Achieving the technical quality of work in accordance with QatarEnergy procedures, whilst considering quality, schedule, cost and HSE.

Required Experience and Skills

10 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the Oil & Gas industry.

Conduct Civil / Structural Engineering (Offshore) Engineering activities and in‑house site surveys for projects, from initial concept definition phase through to engineering studies, FEED, detailed design and commissioning.

Develop, update and monitor schedules for in‑house engineering activities, contribute to external FEED / EPIC scheduling activities and effective project delivery.

Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance.

Review and evaluate the Contract Changes / Variation to approved guidelines and practices.

Ability to identify and utilize relevant engineering standards and codes related to Civil / Structural Engineering (Offshore).

Proven ability to manage time, cost and quality in engineering projects within a multiple‑project environment.

Good communications and presentations skills with fluency in English.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status or equivalent preferable.
