Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled SAP DBM / VSS Functional Consultant with strong expertise in after-sales service operations. The candidate will have proven experience in implementing, configuring and supporting SAP Vehicle Sales & Service (VSS) / DealerBusiness Management (DBM) modules, specifically in service, workshop and warranty management processes. The consultant will be responsible for optimizing after-sales operations, enhancing customer satisfaction and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.

Principal Accountabilities

Provide functional support and implement enhancements for after-sales service processes in SAP DBM / VSS.
Configure and manage critical areas of after-sales operations, including service order processing, workshop management, vehicle service scheduling, resource planning, warranty and claims management, and parts and accessories management, ensuring efficient dealership service operations.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and deliver effective SAP solutions.
Ensure seamless integration of DBM / VSS with related SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI / CO, and CRM.
Troubleshoot functional / system issues, prepare documentation, and deliver end-user training and support.
Support system upgrades, rollouts, and process improvements in after-sales operations.
Work closely with SAP ABAP developers to design and deliver custom enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
Engage in requirement gathering, preparation of functional specifications, and collaboration with technical teams to implement solutions.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business users.
Apply deep knowledge of workshop operations, warranty / claims management, and parts management to support business objectives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any other relevant field of study.

ITIL Foundation or Project Management certifications (PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile) are considered an added advantage.

5–8 years of total SAP experience with at least 3–5 years in SAP DBM (Dealer Business Management) implementations, rollouts, or support.

Hands‑on experience in at least 2 full life cycle implementations of SAP DBM.

Proven track record in requirement gathering, gap analysis, system configuration, UAT, training, and post go‑live support. Exposure to integration with SAP SD, MM, FICO, CRM, and SuccessFactors is highly desirable.

Experience in working with global templates and localizations (especially GCC / Middle East automotive setups is a plus).
