Foreman

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of fitters, welders, and helpers on-site or in the workshop.
• Plan, allocate, and monitor daily tasks and work schedules to meet project targets.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and site safety rules .
• Review and interpret drawings, fabrication sketches, and work instructions with the team.
• Inspect and approve fit-up, alignment, and weld preparation prior to welding.
• Coordinate with QC inspectors, engineers, and project managers for quality control and progress reporting.
• Maintain daily work reports, manpower records, and progress charts .
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to team members for skill development and productivity improvement.
