Job descriptionIdentifies in conjunction with the Supervisor and Operating Authority (OTL) the procedures & precautions to be taken, to provide safe place for the intended start-up activities. Assist the Supervisor and Finalize on site start-up procedures sharing them with the Field Operation core crew to make them applicable on site. Assist the Operations Supervisor to finalize a detail start-up sequence in close collaboration with the core field operation crew on site. Participate in the preparation of the kick off meeting for start-up activities. Participate to the preparation of the risk assessment of the activities to be performed during the start-up. Prepare as area authority the potential permit to work required for start-up activities associated with Company Only Fluid (COF). Liaise with the Project Engineer on the main site to coordinate the progress of the start-up. Contributes to updates the Start-up monitoring tools as required with the start-up Supervisor. Takes part in every Permit to Work meetings related to start-up and commissioning activities. Witness along with Project Electrical Commissioning Supervisor the Operational Test performed by the commissioning and liaise with the field operation team Assist the start-up Supervisor in preparing the request and order for required start-up tools. Ensure proper storage and identification of the start-up tools. Prepare the operation of first fill with the commissioning team. Prepare arrival on site (PTW, KOM, JSA…) of the vendor involved in the start-up of the facility. Identify and check the critical valves (especially on brown field) use a battery limit for leak test. Check any type B and C punch list and investigate on it if requested by the start-up Supervisor Field Operations lead, the OTL or the OIM. Ensure the list of inhibition and isolation with the associated certificates and risk assessment properly signed and validated by the relevant persons. Be aware of the potential Downgraded situation on site and update the core crew on any update associated with the start-up activity. Participates to HazId, JSA and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews of new facilities. Prepare, update and check on site the “Red line mark-up” P&ID, SLD at the end of the construct Education : higher national diploma or certificate (equivalent to A-levels + 2 years’ study) Industry experience : minimum 5 years’ experience in O&G production operations. Ability to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues and others. Must have a proven sense of operational responsibility, courage to intervene and challenge. Previous experience with offshore operation, Production, oil & gas preferably former control room operators. Willing to work flexible shifts and extended shifts as required. Fluent in written and spoken English. Computer literate. Basic firefighting T-BOSIET, H2S training OPITO approved NOC PTW training & JSA awareness Confined Space Entry & Rescue, Authorized Gas Tester NOC lifting and rigging training, NOC manual handling training Radiation protection awareness Hazard & Energy control Logout & Tagout awareness Multi Technician – Instruments : thorough knowledge of instrumentation I measurement signal principles, safety systems (ESD / Fire & Gas), field calibration equipment and tools such as Rosemount Hart Communicator; Ex philosophies and CompEx course (Ex1-4); Small Tube Boring qualification; some Production Operator experience preferable Multi Technician – Electrical : thorough knowledge of HV and LV equipment - generators, motors, electrical systems and associated switch gear; read electrical circuit diagrams; Ex philosophies and CompEx course (Ex1-4); some Production Operator experience preferable

- Area Authority for all E&I activities during construction & modification with live operations (Brownfield)
- The witness of the Operational Test Procedure (OTP)
- The execution of the OTP
- The execution of the commissioning (leak test, function test…)
- Assist the C&I supervisor with preparation of the start-up procedures and the operation
