Job Overview

The University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) invites applications for the position of Assistant / Associate Professor in Information Technology. The College of Computing and Information Technology is seeking exceptional candidates to promote high-quality innovative learning, applied research, and service.

UDST is a national university specializing in academic applied, technical, and professional education in the State of Qatar. The university offers over 70 bachelor's and master's degree programs, diplomas, and certificates, and houses 5 colleges, including the College of Computing and Information Technology.

Responsibilities

The primary role of the faculty members at the College of Computing and IT is to develop, deliver, and evaluate a broad range of courses. Particular areas of interest include Computer Systems, Network Systems and Administration, SDN, Cloud and Edge Computing. The successful candidate will also be responsible for evaluating student progress, managing resources of the learning environment, and liaising with industry and other educational institutions.

Requirements

Exceptional candidates at the rank of Full Professor would also be considered. The successful candidate will have a strong expertise in Information Technology and be able to collaborate with the Head of Department, Dean, and colleagues to achieve the college's mission.
