Job Summary and Purpose

Head of Engineering Offshore combines the technological problem-solving ability of engineering and the organizational, administrative, and planning abilities of management in order to oversee the operational performance of complex offshore engineering projects in close coordination with commercial (estimating), production (workshops) and operations (project management & planning) departments and provides contract management services for contractor oversight. Responsible for the delivery of best practice offshore engineering services for repair and new building jobs within the work stream and as aligned with the yard strategy.

Internal : All Operations section management and engineering staff. Operations - Project Managers

Purpose : Manage and delegate section work objectives and ensure integration of the adjacent process disciplines in the production planning & execution value chain.

External : Clients, Subcontractors, Service Engineers

Purpose : Communicate and coordinate work specifications and deliverables.
