- Planning, implementing, supporting and maintaining of switches, routers, firewalls, and other network infrastructure components.
- Assist in design documentation, configuration, integration, and installation of sophisticated network infrastructure components.
- Able to implement projects and time-sensitive tasks under minimal direction. Take ownership of the assigned tasks and seek towards completion on time.
- Handle customer support calls, and work with clients to seek resolution of the reported incidents.
- Participate in network design meetings and status update meetings.
- Travels as necessary to co-located facilities for maintenance and installation
- Performs other related duties assigned.
- Provide out of hours coverage for support and change management activity as required.
- Provide support for service request including Move, Add, Change, Deletions for network systems.
- Responsible for changes involved in network including upgrades, installation, RMA.
Required Skills
4-6 years of experience working in system integrator environment.Good understanding on networking systems, protocols, software and technologies including but not limited to Routers, Switches, WIFI networks, Load balancers, Firewalls, IP telephony systems, WAN technologies etc.Experience in designing, configuring and troubleshooting of dynamic routing protocols.Sound knowledge in diagnosing complex network performance issues and working with Network Monitoring systems, Wireshark, and other network troubleshooting / performance benchmarking techniques.Experience with Cisco Catalyst / Nexus Switches, and or ISR / ASR Routers, Wireless Controllers.Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Wireless LANs.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies and network practices in a constantly evolving environment.Highly motivated and dedicated, capable of working with little instruction to resolve demanding tasks in coordination with internal teams.Desired Security Skills
Hands-on experience with next-generation firewalls including Cisco FTDs, Fortigate, and Palo Alto Networks firewalls.Experience in or willingness to learn F5 load balancers.Working knowledge of ISE that include configuration of policies and analyzing reports to troubleshoot issues.Good understanding of DMZ, VPNs, TCP / IP, DNS, IPS, IDS, Sandbox.Knowledge of computer security systems, applications, procedures and techniques.Desired Voice Skills
Experience in configuration, migration and upgrade functions of Unified Communication systems.Experience in troubleshooting of VoIP network within the SLA.Experience with On-Premises Cisco Collaboration, Contact Center Express, Call manager, Jabber, WebEx, CUBE, Gateways (SIP, H323, MGCP), Cisco Jabber, CMS, Edge CollaborationsDesired Datacenter Skills
Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi.Working knowledge or willingness to learn Cisco ACI.Some exposure to cloud technologies.Experience with Cisco UCS, VXRail, SAN, iSCSI.Certifications
