Speech therapist vacancy in Lusail Qatar

Speech Therapist - Lusail, Qatar

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Speech Therapist to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities
  • Developing individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and client goals
  • Providing therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and strategies
  • Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Educating clients and their families on techniques to improve communication skills
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of client assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid license / certification in speech therapy from the country of origin or willingness to obtain one in Qatar
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a speech therapist
  • Experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
