Speech Therapist - Lusail, Qatar
We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Speech Therapist to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities
- Developing individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and client goals
- Providing therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and strategies
- Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Educating clients and their families on techniques to improve communication skills
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients
- Maintaining accurate documentation of client assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans
Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication DisordersValid license / certification in speech therapy from the country of origin or willingness to obtain one in QatarMinimum of 2 years of experience working as a speech therapistExperience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds is preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamBenefits
