Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities :

Review electrical designs, drawings, and technical specifications for infrastructure projects.

Plan, supervise, and monitor electrical works such as power distribution networks, street lighting, substations, cabling, and LV / HV systems .

Ensure all electrical installations comply with local authority requirements, international codes, and safety regulations.

Prepare BOQs, material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings for client / consultant approval.

Conduct site inspections, testing & commissioning of electrical systems.

Qualifications & Experience :

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

5–10 years of experience in electrical engineering within infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, industrial, or public works) .

Knowledge of power distribution systems, substations, street lighting, and infrastructure cabling .

Strong understanding of IEC, IEEE, NEC, BS, and local authority standards .

Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project / Primavera, and electrical design software.
