Title : E-Commerce Manager
Reports to : Chairman
Position Objective
Responsible for driving online sales and enhancing the overall e-commerce strategy of AIH. This role focuses on managing the online shopping experience, optimizing product listings, and implementing effective marketing strategies to increase traffic and conversion rates. The E-Commerce Manager will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including marketing, IT, and operations, to ensure a seamless online retail experience for customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to achieve sales and growth targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Website Management
Oversee the e-commerce platform, ensuring an intuitive user experience and mobile responsiveness.Collaborate with web developers and designers to implement website enhancements and troubleshoot technical issues.Product Management
Manage the online product catalog, including accurate product descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory management.Coordinate with merchandising and supply chain teams to ensure optimal product availability and timely fulfillment.Customer Experience
Enhance the online shopping experience through effective customer engagement strategies, including personalized marketing and customer service initiatives.Gather customer feedback to continuously improve website functionality and customer satisfaction.Analytics and Reporting
Utilize analytics tools to track website performance, sales metrics, and customer behavior.Prepare regular reports on e-commerce performance, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management.Collaboration and Coordination
Work closely with marketing, IT, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on e-commerce initiatives.Manage relationships with third‑party vendors and service providers, including payment processors and shipping partners.Develop and manage the e-commerce budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact.Monitor expenses and financial performance against budgeted targets.Key Performance Indicators / Success Measures
Total Online Sales Revenue : Measure the total revenue generated from e-commerce sales within a specified period.Sales Growth Rate : Percentage increase in online sales compared to previous periods (monthly, quarterly, or annually).Website Conversion Rate : Percentage of website visitors who complete a purchase.Abandoned Cart Rate : Percentage of shoppers who add items to their cart but do not complete the purchase.Customer Retention Rate : Percentage of customers who make repeat purchases within a defined timeframe.Average Order Value (AOV) : Total revenue divided by the number of orders, indicating how much customers are spending on average.Order Fulfillment Time : Average time taken to process and deliver an order from the point of purchase to delivery.Inventory Turnover Rate : Number of times inventory is sold and replaced over a period, indicating how effectively stock is managed.Page Load Time : Average time taken for pages to load, as faster load times improve user experience and conversions.Mobile Responsiveness : Percentage of sales coming from mobile devices, indicating how well the site performs on mobile platforms.Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.Relevant certifications in e-commerce or digital marketing is a plus.Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably within the retail sector.Proven track record of driving online sales growth and managing successful digital marketing campaigns.Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, AdWords, social media advertising).Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Seniority Level
