About the Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Translator (English ↔ Arabic)

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate, high-quality translations of official documents, reports, correspondence, and presentations — including those intended for

government entities, ministries, and public institutions

— ensuring that all materials are linguistically precise, culturally appropriate, and aligned with our institutional standards. Key Responsibilities Translate a wide range of materials (letters, policies, contracts, reports, and press releases) from

English to Arabic

and

Arabic to English . Handle

official and legal translations

for use with government and ministry communications. Proofread and edit translated texts to ensure linguistic accuracy and consistency. Support internal departments with bilingual communication, including HR, Legal, and Communications. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Ensure all translations reflect the organization’s professional image and comply with formal Arabic standards. Assist in preparing bilingual presentations and materials for senior management and external stakeholders. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in

Translation, Linguistics, Arabic Language, English Language, or a related field . Minimum

5 years of professional translation experience , preferably in a

government, public-sector, or corporate environment . Excellent command of

Modern Standard Arabic

and

fluent written and spoken English . Proven ability to handle official and technical documents accurately and professionally. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Proficiency in

MS Office

and document formatting tools (Word, PowerPoint, PDF editing, etc.). Preferred Qualifications Experience translating for

government agencies, ministries, or official institutions . Familiarity with Qatar’s official and administrative terminology. Membership in a recognized translators’ association is an advantage.
