Principal Engineer - Environment

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer – Environment to join our team in Doha. This leadership role you will be responsible for overseeing and directing complex environmental engineering projects, ensuring compliance with local and international environmental regulations and driving sustainable practices within our organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams in the planning design and implementation of large-scale environmental engineering projects
• Conduct and oversee environmental impact assessments for proposed developments and infrastructure projects
• Develop and implement environmental management systems and sustainability initiatives
• Provide expert technical guidance on environmental issues to internal stakeholders and clients
• Analyze complex environmental data and create comprehensive reports for decision-making purposes
• Collaborate with government agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
• Mentor and develop junior engineers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Stay abreast of emerging environmental technologies and best practices incorporating them into project designs and organizational strategies
• Represent the company at industry conferences and forums presenting on environmental engineering topics
