Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sourcing Specialist (MEP) with valid Qatar driving license to join our procurement team. This role focuses on sourcing and managing suppliers for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) materials, equipment, and services. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the MEP domain, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the local and international supply markets.

Key Responsibilities :

Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers for MEP materials and equipment in line with project specifications and company standards.
Request, review, and analyze quotations and proposals from vendors.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost and service levels.
Maintain up-to-date records of vendor databases, product catalogs, and market trends.
Collaborate with engineering, project management, and finance teams to align sourcing strategies with project requirements.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.
Support the development of sourcing strategies for long-term procurement efficiency.

Desired Skills & Experience

Qualifications :

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably within the MEP or construction industry.

Strong understanding of MEP systems, products, and supply markets.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and standards.

With valid Qatar Driving License
