* Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
* Maintain and troubleshoot HV/MV/LV transformers, switchgear, switchboards, MCCs, motors, cables, and terminations.
* Service and maintain PLCs, VFDs, UPS systems, lighting systems, cathodic protection systems, hoists, and flare electrical systems.
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults, control circuits, and protection systems.
* Assist in troubleshooting complex electrical equipment failures and plant breakdowns.
* Read and interpret single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, control drawings, and technical documentation.
* Use electrical testing and calibration instruments such as multimeters, insulation testers (Megger), and related tools.
* Record maintenance activities in CMMS and prepare maintenance reports.
* Follow Permit-to-Work (PTW), Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO), and site safety procedures.
* Ensure compliance with HSE standards, Life Saving Rules, and Integrated Management System requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance within Fertilizer, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, or Heavy Industrial Plants.
- Hands-on experience with HV/MV/LV electrical systems, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, motors, PLCs, VFDs, UPS systems, and lighting systems.
- Familiarity with electrical control and protection systems, including motor protection relays and feeder protection systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, testing, calibration, and repair of electrical equipment.
- Experience using electrical testing instruments such as Multimeters and Insulation Testers (Megger).
- Knowledge of CMMS, Permit-to-Work (PTW), and Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) systems.
- Good understanding of industrial safety practices, hazardous materials handling, and environmental requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
