We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our school team The ideal candidate will inspire young minds by teaching art fundamentals fostering creativity and encouraging selfexpression through various artistic mediums The Art Teacher will be responsible for developing ageappropriate lesson plans conducting engaging art classes and assessing student progress Additionally they will play a key role in promoting an appreciation for art and integrating it into the broader educational experience Plan and deliver engaging art lessons that align with the school s curriculum and meet educational standards Introduce students to a variety of art techniques and materials including drawing painting sculpture and digital art Encourage creativity and selfexpression helping students develop their artistic skills and confidence Assess and evaluate student performance providing constructive feedback and fostering a positive learning environment Organize art displays and exhibitions to showcase student artwork within the school and community Incorporate art history and cultural diversity into lessons to broaden students understanding of art Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment ensuring the proper use and care of art supplies and equipment Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art into other subject areas and school activities Stay updated on current art education trends and participate in professional development opportunities Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Art Education Fine Arts or a related field Teaching certification licensure appropriate for grade school education Previous experience teaching art to gradeschool students preferably in a school setting Strong knowledge of various art techniques materials and tools Excellent communication organization and classroom management skills A passion for working with young children and fostering a love for art
