Job Description

ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Management Expert to join our dynamic team in Qatar. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing information management systems that enhance our operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making. Your expertise will drive the development of innovative solutions that align with our business objectives.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive information management strategies and systems.
  • To guide the business in Information Management (IM) and Information Governance (IG) and the execution of an information management strategy defining good information management practices, processes and requirements for the complete lifecycle management of all organizational information assets (business data, master data, reference data, content, integration and analytics.
  • Enterprise Data Strategy -Structure data and create insights by connecting the dots so our clients can improve their performance.
  • Data Governance Framework – Develop data management policies.
  • Data Dictionary – Data Discovery activities for critical data elements identification and ownership.
  • Data lineage and reporting governance – data lifecycle management, manage reports inventory and rationalization with data custodians.
  • Data quality management program – formalizing quality rules and remediation plans, along with data stewards, and reporting to data governance council.
  • Data Information Governance Model - Define maturity assessment model.
  • TO Lead the engagement with CxOs and teams, to define the roadmap on Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation and Compliance strategies.
  • Lead the services team in building the Proof of Concepts, demonstrating Proof of Technology during various Client Engagements.
  • Operating model – Define roles and responsibilities of data owners, stewards, and custodians.
  • Master Data Management Data Governance and Business Process Management.
  • Product Information Management and Multichannel commerce.
  • Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and Reporting – OBIEE, Oracle Analytics Cloud, IBM Watson Analytics.
  • Oracle Sales/Service Cloud, Oracle Incentive Compensation, Oracle Data Visualization and Analytics.
  • IBM Master Data Management, IBM Commerce (Unica), Product Information Management & Business Process Management Tools (Lombardi, Process Server), WebSphere Portal.
  • Data Science, Machine Learning & AI (R, Python, DV Tools).
  • Enterprise Information Integration (Information Server) and Cloud Integration (Cast Iron).
  • IBM Blockchain, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka.

Required Profile

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in information management and a proven track record of success. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field.

    • Relevance will be reviewed and confirmed by ISD in line with technical competencies of applicant.

  • Minimum 12 years’ experience in similar skill set.
  • Proven track record in the development and execution of Enterprise level Data / Information Management Strategies.
  • Relevant consulting or industry experience, with proven ability to build relationships with business and technology leaders.
  • Relevant experience in defining selection criteria for technology providers and identifying suitable vendors and service providers.
  • Experience defining the business case to include assigning financial value to technology capabilities and process improvements from technology implementation.
  • Expert level understanding and knowledge of Information Management fundamentals and the ability to applying them across a broad range of disciplines.
  • Proven experience with Enterprise Data Management (Master Data Management, managing Reference Data, Data modeling, integration, Data Warehousing, Metadata, Data Quality, Analytics and managing data in a hybrid cloud environment). Specific experience requirements are attached to Master Data Management, experience in processes and practices related to operational (transactional data management) and Data Quality Management.
  • Proven experience with Enterprise Content Management (specifically Document and Records Management, management of technical documents and drawings, intelligent models, metadata for content, collaboration, findability of information, classification & taxonomies, digitization of paper.
  • Knowledge of Business Process automation though Information Management processes and technologies.
  • Knowledge of Information Governance principles and the operational execution of governance through frameworks, processes and standards.
  • Experience in working in the Construction Industry will be an advantage.
  • Ability to create critical collaterals for workshops and interactive sessions.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and excellent communication Skills.
  • Past Experience with Big 4 consulting firms preferred.
  • Skills & Tools:

    • Process modelling tools and approaches using Active Reporting & Documentation Matrix.

    • Statistical Background: Data Distributions, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, predictive models , inferential statistics.
    • Data Visualization - BI Tools: Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, SAP SAC /BI ,Qlik View /Qlik Sense.
    • Cloud based data mining tools: Microsoft Azure Data Factory, AZURE Data Lake, Data-Warehouse & Data Hub.
    • Structured Database tools: Sql Server with BI & My Sql.
    • Big Data awareness: Hadoop, Spark, MongoDB.
    • AI Knowledge: Neural Networks, Machine Learning using python.
    • Development Tools: Net Framework, Python, Java, R, SQL, Oracle pl /SQL.
    • Fundamentals of policy development & Randomized design evaluation.
