Doveworth LimitedQatarThe Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the supply chain processes including procurement transportation inventory management and distribution of materials and equipment required for construction projects The role demands strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate logistics operations by planning and executing transportation strategies for materials and equipment Collaborate with project managers to determine logistical needs based on project timelines and requirements Manage relationships with suppliers vendors and freight companies to ensure timely delivery of goods Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain optimal stock levels Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with legal regulations related to transportation Analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and costeffectiveness Develop contingency plans for potential disruptions in the supply chain Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities using appropriate software tools Provide support during project mobilization and demobilization phases Skills Knowledge and Experience Required Bachelor s degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics coordination or supply chain management within the construction or engineering industry Strong understanding of logistics software systems e g ERP systems as well as Microsoft Office Suite Excel Word Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for problemsolving purposes Ability to work under pressure while managing tight deadlines Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to transportation and handling of materials In Return Doveworth Limited offers a competitive salary package along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance retirement plans paid time off professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment that fosters growth We value our employees contributions and are committed to their success within our organization
