Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil / Structural Engineer to deliver technical design and engineering services across onshore projects. The role involves providing engineering expertise, ensuring quality, safety, and cost efficiency throughout all project phases - from concept design to commissioning. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet technical, schedule, and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver technical design and engineering services for onshore civil and structural projects in accordance with company standards and procedures.

Conduct site surveys and prepare engineering studies, FEED, detailed design, and commissioning documentation.

Ensure all work complies with corporate technical assurance practices, engineering standards, and HSE requirements.

Review and evaluate technical deviations, method statements, and design variations for compliance with approved codes and standards.

Support the review and update of internal engineering standards and amendments to external codes.

Plan, lead, and coordinate the work of multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

Review, develop, and approve engineering work scopes to ensure clarity and completeness.

Liaise with contractors and vendors to resolve technical queries and ensure scope compliance.

Contribute to project scheduling activities and monitor in-house engineering progress to support timely execution.

Conduct technical bid evaluations and provide recommendations for contract awards.

Review and assess contract changes and variations for alignment with technical and commercial requirements.

Mentor junior engineers and participate in structured technical training programmes to develop team competencies.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognised institution.

Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer status is preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of relevant post-graduate experience, including at least 6 years in the oil and gas industry.

Strong knowledge of engineering standards and codes applicable to onshore civil and structural engineering.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects, balancing quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English.
