Job Description

Role Overview

The Cloud & Network Security Engineer will be responsible for securing the organization’s Azure cloud environment and onsite network infrastructure. The role focuses on threat protection, firewall security, compliance alignment, and ensuring a stable and secure hybrid network ecosystem.

Key Skills & Expertise

Cloud Security (Azure)

Experience with Azure Defender for Cloud, Sentinel (SIEM), and Key Vault

Identity and access security including Conditional Access, PIM, MFA, and RBAC

Threat detection, incident response, and log analytics monitoring

Perimeter Security & Firewalls

Hands-on experience configuring and managing FortiGate firewalls

(VPNs, IPS / IDS, routing, security policies)

Web Application Firewall (WAF) setup and optimization

Secure remote access, segmentation, and network protection strategies

Onsite Network Management (UniFi / Ubiquiti)

Administration of UniFi controllers, switches, gateways, and access points

LAN and Wi-Fi deployment, troubleshooting, and performance optimization

Security configurations including VLANs, guest networks, and access controls

Governance & Compliance

Development and enforcement of security baselines and policies

Conducting risk assessments and vulnerability management activities.

Requirements

Experience Requirements

Proven experience in cloud security, network security, and hybrid infrastructure

Strong background with FortiGate and UniFi / Ubiquiti networking environments

Experience supporting enterprise-grade environments with security focus
