Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated professional to join our Accounting & Reporting Consulting (ARC) practice in Qatar as an Assistant Manager . The role involves supporting and managing client engagements focused on accounting advisory, financial reporting, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge and a consulting mindset to deliver high-quality advisory solutions to clients in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Support and manage accounting and reporting advisory projects for clients across sectors.
  • Provide technical accounting advice under IFRS and assist clients with implementation and impact assessments of new standards.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
  • Support clients with process improvements in financial reporting, close processes, and system enhancements.
  • Work closely with Managers and Directors in delivering engagements within agreed timelines and quality parameters.
  • Contribute to proposal development, client presentations, and other business development initiatives.
  • Guide and coach junior team members to enhance their technical skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to internal knowledge-building initiatives.

Requirements

  • Professional Qualification : CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent (completed or pursuing final level).
  • Experience : 5–8 years of experience in accounting advisory, financial reporting, or audit, preferably with Big 4 or consulting experience.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and related accounting standards.
  • Exposure to IPSAS or public sector accounting will be an advantage.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deliver within tight timelines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and client-service orientation.
  • Willingness to be based in Qatar and travel within the Middle East, if required.
